Tower Upgrades Mechanic updated


Hi, I'm taking some days off and wanted to Update some work before :D

New Mechanic :

Many feedback were stating that it was frustrating to nearly do nothing between waves in early game,  apart changing a few walls and towers of position.

So i thought about using the Tower Upgrades at the end of each waves not as direct Power Ups, but as Unlockable part of Towers.

For exemple, if I had chosen the "Basic" Tower  Range Upgrade at the End of the Wave as we see on the image :




Then it would unlock The Up button in front of " Range" stating that i can spend 10 Souls to increase this specific tower Range :



The more I think about it, the better i think this can be in the future, it does three things :

  • increasing the idea to reroll to have the desired Tower Unlocked Part
  • Player can have a hard time to think on where they want to invest their souls, Defense ( Walls ) or Attack ( Tower )
  • You always have something to do in between waves

Feedback buttons are still not implemented, So look if the currency is used when clicking on those buttons. 

Improvements : 

  • When the Wave is Ended you pick Up instantly all the dropped souls from defeated ennemies, instead of them vanishing into the wild.
  • Added an Invulnerability frame when touched.
  • Orb Tower as a better Pattern
  • Can now get more projectiles by unlocking projectiles upgrade
